Job Description

The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos has an opening for a Logistics Project Manager to oversee and coordinate logistics supply chain actions ensuring timely, cost effective and compliant logistics and supply chain operations. The Logistics Project Manager creates, maintains, and tracks asset-related service level agreements (SLAs) and identifies controls to measure process effectiveness and adherence to policies and procedures and creates reports to provide transparency.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze logistics processes to identify inefficiencies and implement strategies to improve procurement and distribution efficiency
  • Track the receipt and disposition of equipment in the accountable property system of record.
  • Ensure audit compliance for assets by conducting annual inventory audit and develop process and procedures to ensure accuracy.
  • Participate in self-audit and regulatory reviews.
  • Develop and maintain the logistic team’s processes and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on fulfillment of requirements for various customer reporting systems (Confluence, SharePoint, HelpNow.
  • Perform primary actions to facilitate worldwide logistics operations.
  • Provide support for all customer supply chain management review (SCMR) audits.
  • Assist and provide input into process improvement initiatives.
  • As a custodial property officer (CPO), approve equipment transfers for hub and tail sites.
  • Assist the contract configuration management team and the Tier II technicians with configuration management requirements.
  • Develop site inventory plans, as well as monitor and report on the status of the inventory.
  • Track and monitor the disposal of equipment across the program—ensure that all documentation is signed within the established requirements.
  • Collaborate with site personnel on a regular basis to ensure all consumable property stock levels are being properly maintained.
  • Coordinate complex logistics functions, including distribution of materials and IT equipment, ensuring minimal risk of loss or quality deterioration
  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of shipments as needed.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics which will subsequently be used to measure, review, and analyze the effectiveness, efficiency, and maturity of the asset management process.
  • Successfully conducts and completes all assigned training.
  • Travel of up to 30% of the year to inventory and manage the lifecycle of equipment at remote locations.
  • Establish and maintain hardware and software maintenance database and historical document records.
  • Read Government handbooks and regulations and understand how it correlates to the work we perform.
  • Align with Change management processes and those responsible for life cycle management of their components.

Requirements

  • Required Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly
  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Master’s degree with 6 years. Education equivalency of Associate’s with 10 years of related experience or High School Diploma with 12 years of related experience can be used in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • Demonstrated experience with the full life cycle of customer assets.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating and coordinating across project teams and components facilitating information sharing, reuse and productivity improvements.
  • Possess strong communications skills, to include written and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with defense organizational structures, operational processes, or logistics/IT environments
  • Experience with SAP asset management and ServiceNow.
  • Ability to learn tasks quickly with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus in a stressful environment, and be able to adapt to a variety of challenges.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of IT software and hardware, with three or more years of experience working with IT logistics.
  • Experience in the physical inventory of equipment, as well as proper labeling, tracking, and documenting the movement of IT equipment

Pay Range:

$92,300.00-$142,000.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
