Responsibilities:
**
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of tank farm facilities, including receiving, storing, and transferring bulk liquids, while adhering to all safety and operational procedures.
Job Responsibilities**
* Execute the loading and unloading of tank trucks, vessels, and barges, ensuring accurate product transfer and documentation.
* Monitor tank levels, temperatures, and pressures, and record data accurately.
* Perform routine inspections of tank farm equipment, pipelines, and pumping systems, identifying and reporting any anomalies or potential issues.
* Conduct basic maintenance tasks and troubleshooting on tank farm equipment as required.
* Operate and maintain pumps, valves, and other associated equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
* Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
* Participate in emergency response drills and be prepared to act swiftly and effectively in crisis situations.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area within the tank farm.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and external parties regarding operational status and potential issues.
* Complete all necessary documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Job Qualifications**
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, operations, or a similar role, preferably within a tank farm, refinery, or chemical plant environment.
* Strong understanding of bulk liquid handling procedures and safety protocols.
* Ability to operate various types of pumps, valves, and control systems.
* Knowledge of relevant safety regulations (e.g., confined space entry, hot work permits).
* Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately record data.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Valid driver's license.
