We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Administrator to join our Air and Ocean Transverse division within CEVA A&O Mexico. This role is based in Alcaldia Benito Juarez, Mexico, and supports our commitment to efficient and effective logistics operations across the NORTAM region.

As a Logistics Operations Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operational flow, maintaining accurate logistics data, and supporting performance monitoring activities. Your contribution will be essential to enhancing operational excellence and delivering superior service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily logistics activities, including shipment tracking, scheduling, and documentation management to support seamless operations across air and ocean freight.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to flow and performance, providing timely reports and insights to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including customer service, warehouse, transportation, and compliance departments to resolve operational issues and optimise processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices, particularly in customs and international shipping regulations.
  • Maintain and update logistics databases, ensuring all records are accurate, complete, and readily accessible for audits and operational reviews.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks and recommending solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new team members in logistics procedures and systems as required.
  • Communicate proactively with internal and external partners to facilitate transparent and timely information exchange.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in logistics operations, preferably within air and ocean freight environments.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in monitoring performance metrics and generating actionable reports.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and verbal, to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with logistics management systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality documentation standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
