Then apply now to become part of our Hong Kong team. For our subsidiary in Hong Kong, we are looking for a Logistics Operations and Accounting Clerk. In this role, you will support our Logistics team and handle daily bookkeeping responsibilities for our Finance & Administration team. You will be in contact with the Lomography Headquarter and other subsidiaries all over the world to support the operations of the company with various topics related to logistics, accounting and other administrational matters.

Responsibilities:

Logistics Operation

  • Responsible for daily logistics operations, inbound and outbound shipments for wholesale customers

  • Process and respond to relevant online customer service inquiries

  • Prepare shipping documentation, e.g., S/O, invoices, packing lists, AWB, bookings, etc.

  • Handle export and import customs declarations via Tradelink / eBiz

  • Coordinate with the warehouse and wholesale team to ensure shipping orders are fulfilled on schedule and prepare reports as necessary

  • Collaborate with China counterparts, factories, suppliers, and customers to ensure accurate documents and shipping instructions

  • Assist in gathering data for logistics cost analysis and process improvements in overall logistics operations

  • Assist in developing and testing new tools in the logistics sector (up to testing AI tools)

Finance & Accounting

  • Handle daily bookkeeping for the Hong Kong office in a timely manner

  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and assist in preparing other financial reconciliation reports to ensure data integrity

  • Assist in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure timely processing and proactive follow-ups

  • Liaise regularly with the Headquarter in Europe and subsidiaries across Asia Pacific to coordinate financial and administrative matters

  • Assist in developing new tools for accounting and controlling (up to testing AI tools)

General Administration

  • Handle general office administrative duties to maintain smooth daily office operations

  • Assist in executing ad-hoc projects and assignments as requested by supervisors

Requirements

Your profile:

  • Diploma in Supply Chain / Logistics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a role handling logistics operations, basic accounting/bookkeeping, or a similar hybrid administrative capacity

  • Proficient in PC, data input, Microsoft (MS) Office and Google G-Suite applications

  • Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g. XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) are highly advantageous

  • Knowledge in import / export operations is a plus

  • Fluent in spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin is preferred

  • Detail attentive, self-motivated, work independent and under pressure

  • Good team player and able to handle multiple tasks

  • Immediate availability is preferred
