You’ll specifically take care of designing and managing packaging solutions, as well as optimizing warehouse layouts and internal flows, but also contribute to reducing costs and improving operational efficiency across the entire value chain.

We’ll look to you for:
• Implementing and managing standard packaging solutions, including purchase, design, prototyping, validation, and budget monitoring
• Optimizing transport, unloading, storage, and line feeding processes to protect parts during logistics operations
• Designing and justifying business cases for cost-saving initiatives, such as returnable packaging solutions
• Collaborating with regional logistics engineering teams to identify improvements and capture added value
• Reducing labor time in warehouses and production lines through process optimization
• Improving ergonomics at workstations and reducing waste packaging
• Designing internal logistics processes and ensuring accurate ERP parameters
• Aligning physical and system flows to improve stock accuracy
• Contributing to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives in logistics operations

All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
• Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in an industrial environment
• Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP (Warehouse Management and Inventory Management modules)
• Understanding of packaging design, warehouse management, and supply chain optimization
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Strategic and methodical vision with problem-solving abilities
• An agile, inclusive, and responsible mindset
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:
• Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
• Work with new standards for logistics and supply chain optimization
• Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues
• Contribute to innovative projects that impact global mobility
• Utilise our flexible and inclusive working environment
• Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries
• Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning opportunities
• Progress towards senior roles in logistics or supply chain management
• Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)
