Job Description

Your next opportunity:

We are actively recruiting an experienced Logistics Manager to join our Concrete and Quarries SA Team Overseeing our logistics function, you will be responsible for designing and executing our logistics strategy whilst actively maintaining our safe, efficient and reliable fleet to enable delivery to our customers.

Your day will involve:

  • Driving compliance and safety across the logistics function (including COR and adherence to all regulatory and Boral internal requirements).
  • Optimisation of HRV resources across the Quarry and Concrete business including balancing of company, contractor and sub-contractors.
  • Analysis of performance against key safety, utilisation, financial and operational performance metrics.
  • Ownership and management of logistics performance improvement planning and implementation processes.
  • Supporting the General Manager and Leadership team as the Logistics SME for the business unit.

What are we looking for?

  • Demonstrated experience in a Senior Logistics Management role with multiple operational fronts and significant scale.
  • Expert knowledge of legislation and regulations governing heavy vehicle operations (COR legislation, fatigue management, PBS)
  • Degree qualifications in Logistics (desirable)
  • Demonstrated history of driving improvement in safety, asset optimisation, utilisation, cost per operating hour
  • Financial literacy and commercial acumen with strong leadership skills
