Salary Range: $80,168.40 - $95,754.00 Salary

Position Summary:
The Logistics Manager is responsible for assuring efficient operation of the warehouse by providing managerial leadership and direction to employees, positive customer experience and attainment of operational goals. Work with all departments of FSI to ensure proper warehouse cooperation.

Work Environment:
- This position is based at Uwajimaya Food Service International (FSI), a wholesale food service and distribution operation and subsidiary of Uwajimaya.
- Work is performed in a warehouse and cold storage environment.
- This is not a retail grocery store position.
Position’s Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall operation of the Warehouse.
- Develop an effective, highly motivated team that works together to achieve department goals.
- Hire, train and develop employees. Coach to improve performance.
- Provide the leadership, training, planning, organization and support needed to ensure that employees understand and accept goals and work diligently to achieve them.
- Resolve and investigate employee relations issues; provide disciplinary action including termination as necessary.
- Lead and assign duties to crew members. Direct and monitor employees’ activities/productivities to ensure all assigned duties are efficiently carried out.
- Coordinate the department schedule to maximize the most efficient use of time, labor and resources.
- Ensure employees are meeting the department/company standards and safety & security compliance in the proper use of equipment.
- Communicate with General Manager on progress of the department and staff on a regular basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
Starting Pay: $80,168.40 annually, Depending on Experience + Bonus Opportunities
Salary Range: $80,168.40 – $95,754

QualificationsPosition Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age with a Minimum of a High school diploma or its equivalent plus 5+ years of experience in area of specialization.
- Prior supervisory, leadership or management experience required.
- Strong knowledge and skills in warehousing and distribution of food and food-related products required.
- Basic skills in accounting and math are required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have valid, clean driver’s license; Class B license is plus.
- Maintain alcohol-free and drug-free status.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Flexible schedule, ability to multi-task and prioritize.
