About the Role
Our client is looking for a Logistics Manager to take end-to-end ownership of its inbound logistics operations.
This role goes beyond day-to-day logistics coordination. The successful candidate will be responsible for building scalable logistics processes, developing SOPs, managing international logistics partners, controlling costs, and ensuring the logistics function can support continued business growth.
The initial focus will be on Inbound Logistics, with potential for the scope to expand into Outbound and Reverse Logistics in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Own inbound logistics operations across international and domestic shipments from end to end.
- Develop logistics strategies, processes, and SOPs to support increasing shipment volumes and business growth.
- Manage daily logistics operations, including shipment planning, customs clearance, delivery coordination, and warehouse handovers.
- Build, lead, and develop the Logistics Operations team.
- Establish and improve SOPs covering inbound receiving, customs clearance, shipment exceptions, and escalation management.
- Source, evaluate, and manage logistics partners, freight forwarders, and customs brokers across multiple countries.
- Negotiate freight rates, service levels, and commercial agreements with logistics partners.
- Maintain alternative logistics providers and contingency options for critical shipping routes.
- Monitor and improve logistics KPIs, including on-time delivery, shipment exceptions, transit times, and cost per shipment.
- Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs while maintaining service quality and delivery reliability.
- Ensure shipping documentation, customs requirements, duties, HS Codes, and import regulations are managed accurately and compliantly.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve operational issues and shipment delays.
- Provide logistics performance updates, analysis, and planning to support future business growth.
- Support the future development of outbound and reverse logistics processes as the business expands.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, international freight, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience managing people, vendors, logistics partners, or freight forwarders.
- Strong experience with international inbound logistics and cross-border shipments.
- Proven experience managing freight forwarders, logistics providers, or customs brokers across multiple countries.
- Good understanding of international trade, import customs, duties, HS Codes, and Incoterms.
- Demonstrated experience developing or improving logistics SOPs and operational processes.
- Experience negotiating freight rates, SLAs, or logistics service agreements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good Excel skills; experience with SQL, BI, or data-analysis tools is an advantage.
- Strong Thai and English communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating and negotiating with international logistics partners.
Preferred Experience
- Experience within e-commerce, marketplaces, retail, or high-value product logistics.
- Experience supporting rapidly growing or scaling businesses.
- Exposure to outbound logistics or reverse logistics.
- Experience building logistics processes or functions from an early stage.
