Overseeing dispatch, delivery, and yard operations, this role plays a pivotal part in maintaining efficient operational workflow and high-standard client service. Positioned within an established building materials and hardware supply environment, the focus centres on leading operational teams and ensuring seamless product movement.
Operating in a full-time capacity, this leadership position reports directly to the Operational Manager and takes ownership of daily logistics execution

Client Service:
Support contractors and walk-in customers by delivering efficient and dependable logistics solutions
.
Delivery Coordination:
Plan, optimise, and schedule daily dispatch routes for effective material distribution
.
Personnel Management:
Supervise, schedule, and direct drivers, delivery assistants, and yard staff
.
Yard Operations:
Oversee yard activities to guarantee safe, organised, and effective stock handling
.
Inventory Control:
Monitor inventory levels and initiate orders to align stock availability with customer demand.
Good knowledge of building materials and hardware.
Valid South African driver's licence.
Proven track record in logistics, fleet, or warehouse management.
Demonstrated leadership capability and staff management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
High level of reliability with strong attention to detail.
Experience with IQ Retail software
