Job Description

Job Purpose

The Logistics/Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of material flow, inventory control, warehousing, and production planning to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products. This role bridges procurement, production, and logistics to optimize service, quality and cost.

Core Responsibilities


- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute logistics strategies aligned with business objectives; lead a team of logistics professionals.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee material management, planning, inventory, warehousing, transportation and reverse logistics processes; ensure compliance with SLAs and regulation.
- Performance Management: Monitor KPIs such as delivery accuracy, cost efficiency, and lead times; conduct performance reviews.
- Continuous Improvement Drive process optimisation using SAP, Power BI, and Lean methodologies; identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Procurement, and Planning teams; maintain strong relationships with carriers and 3PL providers.

Required Qualifications


- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management; proven leadership in managing complex networks.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; proficiency in SAP and Power BI; excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Languages: Dutch and English.
