Job Description

Job Title: Logistics Maintenance Technician

The Logistics Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and infrastructure within our warehouse, distribution center, and logistics facility. This role ensures the continuous and safe operation of conveyor systems, material handling equipment (MHE), automated storage/retrieval systems, and other logistics and conveyance equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on conveyor belts, forklifts, pallet jacks, AS/RS systems, dock doors, AGVs and AMRs.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on logistics equipment.
  • Support daily operations by responding promptly to equipment breakdowns and service requests.
  • Monitor spare parts inventory and assist with procurement of replacement parts.
  • Collaborate with Logistics Operations and safety teams to ensure equipment complies with health and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  • Assist in equipment upgrades, installations, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and reliability improvement programs.
  • Comply with all company policies, OSHA standards, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial, logistics, or warehouse maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, or automation systems.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 33 lbs and perform work at heights or in tight spaces.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with PLCs and warehouse automation systems.
  • Forklift or scissor lift certification.
  • Knowledge of lean maintenance or TPM practices.
  • No active discipline
