Responsibilities:
- Team Management: - Lead and supervise the shipping team, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure high performance. - Schedule and assign tasks to team members to meet shipping deadlines. - Shipping Operations: - Oversee the preparation and execution of shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels. - Ensure accurate packing and labeling of products to minimize errors and damages during transit. - Logistics Coordination: - Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to schedule pickups and deliveries. - Monitor shipping schedules and track shipments to ensure timely delivery. - Process Improvement: - Analyze shipping processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. - Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for shipping operations. - Quality Control: - Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations in all shipping activities. - Conduct regular inspections of outgoing shipments to verify accuracy and quality. - Reporting: - Maintain accurate records of shipping activities and prepare reports for management. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to shipping efficiency and effectiveness.

 

Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred. - 3-5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a leadership role. - Strong understanding of shipping processes, regulations, and documentation. Preferred Skills: - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. - Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
