Logistics Lead

Our Supply Chain team plays a critical role in ensuring our customers receive the products they love, when they want them. As we continue to optimise our international logistics network, we’re looking for a commercially minded and solutions-focused Logistics Lead to help drive cost efficiency, service excellence and operational performance across our global freight and logistics operations.

About You..

We’re looking for an experienced Logistics Lead who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership. You’ll bring strong international logistics experience, a commercial mindset, and the ability to lead teams, manage partners and solve complex supply chain challenges.

This role will be responsible for developing and executing international logistics strategies that optimise cost, lead time and service levels, while ensuring compliance, vendor performance and operational excellence.

What you’ll do..

• Lead, mentor and develop the logistics team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
• Develop and execute international logistics strategies that optimise cost, lead time and service levels.
• Select, onboard and manage relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines and 3PL providers.
• Own logistics performance reporting, establishing KPIs and providing regular updates on risks, performance and improvement opportunities.
• Manage the international logistics budget, identifying opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality and speed.
• Ensure international logistics operations comply with customs, import/export regulations and other legal requirements.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Merchandising teams to align logistics strategies with inventory planning, purchasing and sales objectives.
• Provide insights into lead times, freight trends and capacity planning to support S&OP processes.
• Work with Technology and Operations teams to identify and implement systems and process improvements.
• Collaborate with suppliers, internal teams and logistics partners to resolve shipping delays, capacity constraints and operational issues.

About you…

• Strong experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, 3PL or supply chain operations.
• Ability to lead, mentor and develop a team, while creating a positive and high-performing work environment.
• Commercially minded, with strong capability in analyzing logistics and supply chain data to identify trends and drive better decisions.
• Strong vendor management experience, including negotiation, relationship management and performance monitoring.
• Experience managing key logistics metrics such as freight cost per unit, on-time delivery, lead time variability, container utilisation and vendor performance.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate risks, manage disruptions and resolve issues quickly.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Merchandising, Technology, Operations and external partners.
• A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify smarter, more efficient ways of working.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive outcomes.
