Business Unit: Logistics - Customs

Join our dedicated Affairs and Compliance division as a Logistics Handling Operations Operator in Indonesia. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth operational handling of logistics processes within customs brokerage and compliance frameworks. You will be contributing to the efficient management of import and export activities, supporting the company's commitment to regulatory adherence and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage day-to-day logistics handling operations, ensuring timely processing and movement of shipments.
  • Collaborate closely with customs brokerage teams to ensure compliance with all national and international customs regulations and fiscal policies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records for all logistics activities, assisting in audits and compliance reviews.
  • Monitor shipment tracking and provide regular updates to stakeholders, proactively identifying and resolving any operational issues.
  • Support the optimization of logistics workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce delays, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external partners, including customs authorities, freight forwarders, and carriers, to facilitate seamless operations.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new team members to uphold high standards of compliance and operational best practices.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in logistics operations, particularly within customs brokerage or freight forwarding environments.
  • Strong understanding of customs regulations, compliance requirements, and fiscal representation practices applicable in Indonesia.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners.
  • Proficiency in using logistics management software and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work proactively in a dynamic environment, demonstrating problem-solving capabilities and adaptability.
  • A commitment to maintaining ethical standards and promoting a culture of compliance.
