Key Accountabilities:
Update shipment info, invoicing, and communication with the client in real-time
Negotiate with the carrier for cargo space, follow up shipment status, and cost entry into the system.
Cooperation with the approved vendors in accordance with an agreed rate
Track shipment and provide updated status with a required document to the destination side
Process data through the company’s system to obtain release AWB, update shipment info, cost, and invoicing process
Resolving issues including discrepancies and delay customs release
Operation troubleshooting at both import and export (customs clearance, storage, and delivery)
Use technology to solve the problem
Use sub-contractor software and customs software (MACCS) to do the customs clearance process
Maintenance of internal shipments record boo
Update data entry into the system related to shipment status events as per Events SOP
Outsourcing third parties according to job requirements and reporting back to the team leader.
Support the Operations Manager, and the team or Finance Department
Required Experience & Skills
Related bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Field
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in custom clearance, logistics or air freight
Fairly proficient in written and verbal communication in English
Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good team player
