Job Description

Our client is a Global Company that innovates, optimizes and drives the supply chains and marketing promotions of many of the best known brands in the world. They are now seeking a Logistics Executive, Plan & Book to join their team. 

LOGISTICS EXECUTIVE, PLAN & BOOK - Service Delivery

Responsibilities:

  • The first contact point in the order management process. He/she will plan the appropriate schedule to ship the products in order to fulfill the customer’s shipment requirement while balancing the customer’s requirement with compliance with the organization’s policy

  • Working with cross teams on solutioning, and providing standard or exception solutions to the customer(s).   

  • Receive and review customer’(s) orders for validity and ensure that the orders comply with the organization’s sales/ pricing agreement.

  • Plan the shipment schedule to fulfil the customer’s shipment requirement while spreading the loading to minimize shipment risk and cost to maximize the customer’s satisfaction.

  • Provide the shipment plan to the Processing team to enable them to place orders with suppliers, confirming orders to customers via our ERP system, JDE/ CW1.

  • Owns relationship with Suppliers and customers on order management and partner with Carriers/ Service Partners and Suppliers to ensure fulfilment of orders.

  • Manage, investigate and provide an innovative solution to resolve issues with carriers/ service partners and suppliers to ensure the shipments are loaded as per plan.

  • Monitor, compile and analyse order management-related data to support the process of exception handling, such as Change of destination, Detention-In-Transit, Air freight and etc as well as identify areas of improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Supply Chain or Business Administration or other discipline.

  • 5 years or above experience in  order processing with problem solving skill,  preferably in supply chain function

  • Good problem-solving skills to provide supply chain solutions to customers

  • Good communication skills, fluent in English 

  • Quick to act, adapt to changes quickly

  • Analytical skill

  • Will be an advantage if has experience in using JDE/CW1 system.
