Job Description

Job Purpose:

Inbound Supply Chain Logistics Executive is responsible for managing and optimizing the purchase to pay process and the flow of goods from suppliers to local distribution center. This role ensures timely, cost-effective, and accurate delivery of inbound shipments, coordinates logistics activities, and collaborates with vendors, warehouses, and internal teams to maintain efficient supply chain operations. The executive monitors performance, resolves issues, and implements improvements for continuous enhancement of inbound logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Global Supply Management

  • Supply Tracking: Monitor and track the order fulfillment from suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Shipment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule shipments to optimize transit times and minimize delays.
  • Customs Declaration: Prepare and manage customs documentation to ensure smooth clearance of international shipments.
  • Regulation Compliance: Ensure all inbound shipments comply with relevant import/export laws, regulations, and company policies.

2. Local DC Operation Coordination

  • Labeling and VAS Scheduling: Coordinate the scheduling of labeling activities and value-added services (VAS) for inbound goods at the local distribution center to ensure accurate and timely execution.
  • DC operation performance management: ensure service lead time is followed and work with DC supervisors for continuous improvement.

3. Vendor Management

  • Vendor Performance Management: Assess and monitor vendor (forwarder, customs broker,…etc) performance, including delivery reliability, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Payment Management: Oversee payment processes for vendors, ensuring timely and accurate payments in line with contractual agreements.

4. Analysis, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement Projects

  • Analysis: Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in inbound logistics.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on inbound logistics performance, including KPIs and compliance metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement Projects: Lead or participate in projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving the overall effectiveness of inbound supply chain processes.

Person Specifications:

Academic & Technical Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations, supply chain, or related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in similar roles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Fluent business English speaking and writing.
  • Retail and FMCG industry background is a plus.
