Logistics Distribution Analyst

The Logistics Distribution Analyst supports the coordination of domestic logistics to help ensure products to the OE and Aftermarket customers are deliv-ered on time. The role involves assisting with the scheduling and monitoring of shipments from Timken de Mexico to customers, following up with transportation providers to balance cost, service, and quality of deliveries.

It also includes tracking and reporting on basic KPIs related to delivery performance, as well as supporting the verifica-tion of vendor invoices and payments according to established rates.

Additionally, the position collaborates in identifying opportunities for improvement with transportation suppliers.

As a Logistics Distribution Analyst you will:

  • Coordinate with 3PL providers for transportation services, including pick-ups and deliveries of materials.
  • Request and follow up on transportation services to support on-time execution.
  • Record and report KPIs related to delivery performance on a monthly basis.
  • Gather and organize information to support vendor payment processes according to approved tariffs, using available systems.
  • Review invoices for completed services and request corrections when needed.
  • Follow up with transportation companies on claims when incidents occur.
  • Keep updated records of freight rates.
  • Collect and review information on transportation activities to identify basic issues or improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers to support agreements and service conditions.
  • Assist in monitoring logistics expenses within the approved budget.
  • Support the registration of goods receipt processes in SAP for indirect products and services.
  • Support end users in clarifying doubts regarding travel applications and expense reports when needed.

Minimum qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in excel, SAP and CRM
