AND KEY MISSION

The Digital Transformation Manager for Richemont Japan Logistics is a highly strategic and critical role responsible for driving the digital transformation across all logistics operations.

The primary objective of this role is to lead the digital transformation of the entire logistics function, including the selection of new partners, providing IT support during implementation phases, and leading or supporting various logistics-related digital initiatives. This position also serves as the key responsible person for digital and IT-related topics in logistics, including robotics studies.

This role is responsible for implementing and governing digital solutions, developing an innovation roadmap, and driving the overall digital transformation of the logistics organization.

This position is aligned with the Group’s overall technology strategy and leverages global best practices in logistics. By working closely with Operations, IT, and external partners, the Digital Transformation Lead is expected to make a significant contribution to operational excellence and logistics performance improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Automation of Current Logistics Operations

  • Promote automation and digitalization of manual operations, identifying remaining manual tasks within logistics processes and transforming them into digital and automated workflows

  • Propose and implement digital solutions that support and enhance logistics operations

Innovation and Digital Transformation

  • Conduct research and drive the implementation of new automation projects

  • Explore and validate emerging technologies and use cases in collaboration with internal and external partners (e.g., consulting firms)

  • Develop proofs of concept (PoC), build robust business cases, and scale suitable solutions

Project Management and Leadership

  • Establish control plans to ensure the stability and reliability of technology deployment

  • Support the Operations Performance team by enhancing processes through digital solutions

  • Lead on-site implementation projects in collaboration with external stakeholders (automation and IT specialists)

Communication and Interface

  • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the logistics digital roadmap

  • Work closely with management, central logistics, other departments, and IT teams to share strategic insights and feedback

Financial Impact

Drive sustainable process improvements and reduce operational costs through the development of viable business cases.

REQUIREMENTS AND KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain or Logistics

  • Experience in robotics and front-end applications(Better to have)

  • Solid understanding of logistics operations

  • Strong expertise in SAP and EWM

  • In-depth knowledge of automation, mechanical systems, robotics, and IT hardware

  • Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms (Neptune, Tulip, UIPath, Pega, AI)

  • Proven ability to manage both operational and strategic projects and coordinate diverse technical teams

  • Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and results-oriented mindset

  • Required languages: Native Japanese, Business-level English
