The Logistics Coordinator coordinates and monitors inbound and outbound shipments to Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers to ensure accurate and timely movement of goods. This role maintains shipping documentation, tracks transportation activities, and communicates shipment status to internal teams and external partners to support efficient supply chain operations and customer satisfaction, while also supporting inventory control and resolving shipment issues through established processes, tools, and metrics.

What This Role Does:

• Tracks, creates, and monitors shipments using internal tracking tools and external websites to provide accurate status updates and proactively address delays or disruptions.
• Communicates with internal teams and external partners including 3PL warehouse personnel, small parcel carriers, and other external vendors to resolve shipment issues and maintain efficient logistics operations.
• Maintains logistics records and updates systems including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Warehouse Management System (WMS), or Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to ensure accurate tracking of shipments, inventory movement, and freight costs.
• Conducts routine audits across receiving, triage, packout, and shipping to ensure compliance with quality and operational standards.
• Identifies defects, verifies order accuracy, and ensures proper handling, packaging, and shipping processes; documents findings, identifies trends, and escalates issues as needed to support continuous improvement.
• Delivers consistent and timely support to internal stakeholders by managing assigned reports and workflows with accuracy and accountability, while coordinating with primary and backup contacts to ensure seamless logistics operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain operations, warehouse operations, or customer service is required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of logistics, small parcel, and freight transportation processes.
• Basic understanding of small parcel (UPS and FEDEX) carrier websites.
• Ability to guide and support others through collaboration, including assisting teammates and contributing to shared processes, to foster a high-quality, team-oriented environment that drives results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
• Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours as needed with minimal supervision, and travel to the company warehouse 3-4 times per month or based on business needs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and modern communication and mobile tools for virtual teams (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack).
Preferred:
• Experience coordinating shipments, tracking orders, or working with carriers.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation such as bills of lading, packing lists, and freight documentation.
• Experience using ERP, WMS, or TMS platforms.

Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time:

• Sitting, standing, and walking (95-100%).
• Keyboarding (70-90%).
• Viewing computer monitor, tablet, and cell phone requiring close vision (70-90%).
• Occasionally bend, crouch, reach, twist and grasp; may be required to lift of move materials up to 25 pounds. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including closed-toe shoes, must be worn when working in the warehouse.

Work Environment:

100% Remote with Travel: Work environment is remote, based in Antioch, TN, and primarily indoors (home office, customer or vendor sites, or other business meeting venues); travel may involve exposure to varying weather and temperature conditions, as well as driving and traffic hazards. Travel to the company warehouse is required 3-4 times per month and depending on business needs.

Warehouse: Work environment is primarily within the company warehouse, indoors, with some variation in temperature and occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions.

Compensation:
$21/hr to $24.50/hr determined by competitive market analysis and internal equity considerations. Final compensation will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and business needs.
