Logistics Coordinator

DP World is seeking an organized and customer-focused Logistics Coordinator to support day-to-day inbound and outbound operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment, coordinating multiple priorities, and serving as a key connection between customers and operational teams.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will help ensure customer orders are processed accurately and on time, inventory expectations are met, and customer and carrier reporting is completed consistently. We're looking for someone who can build strong relationships, solve problems quickly, and stay organized while managing changing operational priorities.

What You’ll Do

As the Logistics Coordinator, you will work closely with customers, carriers, and internal operations teams to support order flow, scheduling, planning, reporting, and overall service performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries, escalations, and day-to-day reporting throughout the lifecycle of customer orders
• Build strong working relationships with key customer contacts and understand their daily business requirements
• Coordinate scheduling and planning activities to support inbound and outbound operations
• Process and manage customer orders through internal systems, including EDI feeds and manual order creation
• Ensure orders are picked and processed on time to meet customer expectations and KPI requirements
• Monitor inventory levels and help ensure inventory expectations are maintained
• Complete weekly and monthly customer and carrier performance reports accurately and on time
• Communicate effectively with customers, carriers, operations teams, and other key stakeholders
• Assist with resolving customer concerns and operational issues in a timely manner
• Support additional logistics and operational activities as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Customer service experience within logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, or planning
• Ability to build strong customer relationships and resolve issues effectively
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong Excel skills; experience with VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables is a plus
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
• Strong attention to detail when handling orders, inventory, and customer reporting

About the Role

How you will contribute

• Handle customer queries, escalations & a large volume of day to day reports through the life cycle of customer orders.
• Build a close working relationship with the Key Account control tower staff staffing through understanding their day to day business requirements and servicing accordingly.
• Ensure a large number of customer & carrier performance reports are completed weekly/monthly and submitted on time and with accurate content.
• Apply scheduling, planning, and coordination activity to support product inbound and outbound operations.
• Ability to communicate both internally and externally with the customers and stakeholders.
• Process order set up via preferred internal system to include but not limited to EDI feeds or manual creation.
• Ensure orders are picked and processed timely to meet KPI requirements and help monitor and ensure proper inventory levels per customer expectations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

• Customer service background in logistics or planning with ability to build a relationship with the customer and handle problem resolution in timely manner.
• Word, Excel, Outlook knowledge with strong emphasis on Excel (V Look Ups, Pivot Table is a plus) used for tracking and analysis.
• Ability to adapt and work in an ever changing, stress induced changing environment.
• Ability to multiitask effectively
