As part of the GREEN S.A is delivering a major demolition, decommissioning and waste management project at the Lavrio Thermal Power Plant
We are seeking a hands-on, well-organised Logistics Coordinator to join our project team. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will coordinate the day-to-day flow of materials, equipment, plant, consumables and outgoing waste streams, ensuring that site logistics operations are carried out safely, efficiently and in full compliance with project HSE standards, environmental requirements and applicable legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day receipt, storage, internal movement and dispatch of materials, equipment, spare parts and consumables.
- Operate and oversee the site weighbridge/truck scale, recording inbound and outbound loads and issuing accurate weighing documentation.
- Manage the segregation, temporary storage and dispatch of hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams, including scrap metal, ferrous/non-ferrous materials and asbestos-containing or contaminated materials, in accordance with ADR regulations and environmental permits.
- Schedule and coordinate inbound deliveries and outbound transport, liaising with suppliers, licensed waste contractors and transport providers while ensuring compliance with site access and safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate records for all incoming and outgoing materials and waste, including delivery notes, weighbridge tickets, waste transfer documentation and inventory logs.
- Monitor stock levels of consumables, PPE, tooling and critical spare parts, raising purchase requisitions to avoid shortages and operational downtime.
- Organise and maintain storage compounds, laydown areas and site warehouses, ensuring safe, tidy and efficient operations.
- Coordinate the movement and positioning of heavy plant and equipment in collaboration with operators and the technical team.
- Work closely with Procurement, Site Management, Technical and HSE teams to forecast material requirements and support project progress.
- Ensure full compliance with HSE procedures, environmental requirements, client specifications and applicable Greek legislation.
- Carry out inventory counts and support internal and client audits.
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, operational efficiency and cost performance.
Professional Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, stores or materials coordination, preferably within construction, industrial, demolition or infrastructure projects.
- Experience operating weighbridges/truck scales and handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
- Experience coordinating deliveries, transport providers, suppliers and licensed waste contractors.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment, demolition materials and industrial spare parts.
Academic Background & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or another relevant discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Additional certifications in warehouse operations, logistics or ADR/Dangerous Goods Transport will be considered an advantage.
Languages & Technical Skills
- Fluent Greek and good working knowledge of English (written and spoken).
- Good command of MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems will be considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with ADR regulations, waste documentation requirements and warehouse safety procedures.

- Effective communication and coordination abilities.
- Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills.
