WELCOMING YOU TO THE TEAM
You will join the Marine Equipment and Offshore Support (MEOS) team in Fredrikstad, supporting complex marine installation and protection projects. The team works closely with project logistics, equipment responsibles, equipment booking, and offshore operations to ensure seamless execution. This is a highly collaborative and operational environment, where coordination between internal stakeholders and external partners is key. You will report into the logistics or operations management function and play a central role in ensuring equipment readiness and availability.

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
As a Logistics Coordinator, you ensure the efficient flow of equipment, materials, and spare parts across marine operations and offshore projects.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing goods receipt, storage, inventory, and internal transportation of materials and equipment
  • Coordinating material flow to support marine projects and IMR activities
  • Ensuring safe handling of materials, including hazardous substances
  • Maintaining and updating risk assessments and ensuring compliance with HSE standards
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery and deployment
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime

YOUR STARTING POINT
We know that the best candidates don’t always match every requirement listed, but here are some examples of the background and experience that can help you thrive in the role:

  • Experience in logistics operations, ideally within marine, offshore, or heavy industry
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, shipping, and receiving processes
  • Familiarity with SAP (preferably SAP MM)
  • Knowledge of HSE standards and safe material handling
  • Analytical mindset with focus on process improvement
  • Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English
  • Problem-solving capabilities and operational mindset
  • Forklift certificate is an advantage
