Leidos is searching for a Logistics Coordinator to join a team supporting programs for DHS and TSA. In this role, candidate will support the Director of Operational Support to coordinate multiple program activities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary responsibilities, to provide logistics and operational support, are to manage distribution of power monitoring systems to specific locations, maintain contract equipment and software inventory databases and facilitate procurement of equipment and software, oversee program’s shipping process to ensure accountability of items shipped and arrival at destination, prepare specific contract deliverables related to this position, and create management site visit itineraries.

Collaborate with the Leidos Program Management Office (PMO), subcontractors and other team members, and the customer with focus on meeting contract requirements. Manage travel logistics for frequent travelers by coordinating itineraries and reconciling travel expenses.

Create and execute plans to temporarily install power monitoring systems at customer locations. Requires close coordination with the PMO, customer sites, manufacturers, and electrical engineers.

Maintain contract equipment inventory and software licenses, to include software renewals. Consult with Team to ensure purchases meet contract and operational needs. Position may include use of a Corporate Purchasing Card to make program-related purchases.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience

  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and able to obtain DHS or TSA vetting (active preferred)

  • Must have the ability to retain a TSA specific Level 2 security clearance

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), to include advanced Excel skills and experience with MS Office keyboard shortcuts

  • Minimum 60 wpm typing speed at 90% accuracy

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail, easily adapt to ongoing program/process changes, and solve problems and issues that require an extensive knowledge of these functions

  • The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and complete tasks accurately and without direct supervision

  • Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced, mission-focused setting while displaying excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must have a positive attitude and maintain high standards for ethics and confidentiality

  • Candidate must have the ability to adjust working schedule to meet program needs

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Located in Reston, VA area for occasional on-site meetings

  • Familiarity with supporting TSA

  • Familiarity with management of government property

  • Experience using SharePoint to manage schedules and documents

  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) a plus

Pay Range:

Pay Range $52,000.00 - $94,000.00
