About the Role

Join RSPCA Queensland as a Logistics Coordinator and play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations, stock flow and performance of our Op Shop network across Queensland.

This is a hands-on and fast-paced leadership role responsible for coordinating logistics operations, supporting truck teams and ensuring stores are well-stocked, safe and operating effectively. Working closely with Area Managers, Store Managers and the Commercial Enterprises team, you’ll help drive operational consistency, strong customer service and positive team culture across the region.

From managing stock movement and fleet operations through to coaching teams, solving operational challenges and supporting continuous improvement initiatives, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys balancing people leadership with operational coordination.

What We’re Looking For

You’re a proactive and organised leader who enjoys keeping operations running smoothly while supporting and developing people along the way. You’re confident coordinating logistics, managing competing priorities and building strong relationships across multiple teams and locations.

With strong communication and problem-solving skills, you know how to motivate teams, drive accountability and create positive working environments. You’re adaptable, hands-on and comfortable stepping into a variety of operational challenges when needed.

Most importantly, you’re passionate about delivering great customer experiences, supporting community-focused retail operations and contributing to meaningful work that supports animal welfare outcomes.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate the day-to-day operations of logistics and truck teams across the Op Shop network.
• Support and coach Op Shop Drivers and Support teams through ongoing leadership and development.
• Coordinate stock allocation, transfers and replenishment to support store performance.
• Monitor stock flow, inventory levels and operational performance across multiple locations.
• Manage rostering, leave coverage and logistics scheduling.
• Monitor KPIs, fleet performance, expenses and operational productivity.
• Conduct audits relating to stock management, WHS and operational standards.
• Work collaboratively with Area Managers, Store Managers and internal stakeholders.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training of logistics team members.
• Contribute to operational projects, process improvements and new initiatives.
• Promote a positive, safe and inclusive team culture aligned with RSPCA Queensland values.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

• Experience in retail operations, logistics coordination or multi-site operational leadership.
• Strong leadership and people management capability.
• Excellent organisation, time management and multitasking skills.
• Confidence managing competing priorities across multiple locations.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience analysing operational performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
• A hands-on, solutions-focused and adaptable approach to work.
• Strong understanding of stock flow, inventory management and retail operations.
• Confidence using systems, reporting tools and operational technology.
• Commitment to customer service, teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Passion for sustainability, community impact and second-hand retail.
• Valid driver licence and willingness to travel between locations regularly.
