For our office in Cape Town,we are looking for a

Logistics Coordinator, SSA and MENA

Main Responsibilities

• Drive Agile Supply Chain
• Actively support in the improvement of operational processes (incl. projects automatization/digitalization)
• Direct contact person for logistical topics
• Coordination with in-house sales team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers
• Pro-actively ensuring (monitoring) transport of daily deliveries
• Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
• Evaluate and report on KPIs
• Contact person for forwarder/3PL regarding transport status, delivery confirmations and delays
• Creation of freight orders to selected forwarders/carriers

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

• Commercial/Business education, higher education degree, business administration or similar
• At least 2 years of professional experience in logistics or Supply Chain
• Excellent handling of and affinity with ERP systems, especially SAP is a must
• Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel

COMPETENCIES:

• Excellent analytical skills
• High proactivity and willingness to improve processes, tasks, etc.
• Reliability and ability to multi-task
• Hands-on approach: you make things happen

LANGUAGES:

• Fluent English and Afrikaans
• Any other language skills is an advantage
