
Logistics Coordinator (Hybrid)

Salary:Up to £37,500
We’re supporting a well-established organisation within the logistics and supply chain sector to recruit a Logistics Coordinator This role is central to ensuring the smooth movement of goods, coordinating transport schedules, and maintaining strong communication with both internal teams and external partners. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering high-quality, efficient service.
There are two roles available, one permanent position and one 12 Month Fixed Term contract.
The Role
As a Logistics Coordinator, you’ll manage the day-to-day coordination of transport and logistics activities, ensuring products are delivered on time and in line with all regulatory requirements. You’ll work closely with commercial, procurement, and production teams, acting as a key link between internal operations and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily logistics schedules, including inbound and outbound shipments
Ensure timely and compliant delivery of goods in line with transport regulations (e.g. ADR/IMDG)
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation for logistics and customs processes
Communicate clearly with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics providers
Monitor and review logistics provider performance
Support the sharing of freight and transport rates across teams
Ensure internal systems (ERP, CRM, customs platforms) are kept accurate and up to date
Assist with issue resolution and support smooth operational delivery
Work to deadlines, ensuring timely updates to all stakeholders
About You
We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
You may have:
Previous experience in a logistics, transport, or supply chain role (around 2+ years preferred)
Experience liaising with customers or suppliers
A strong understanding of customs processes and international shipping requirements
Working knowledge of customs systems such as CNS, Destin8, and CDS, along with an understanding of AEO procedures
Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems (advantageous)
Strong organisational and time management skills
A calm, solution-focused approach, particularly in busy or high-pressure situations
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
