Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in managing, analyzing, and executing logistics plans to support efficient transportation, storage, and shipment solutions. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this position focuses on timely and accurate coordination of shipments, ensuring compliance with established logistics procedures while fostering strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal project teams. This role is based at a camp operation with a 7-7 rotation schedule, including flights provided from Winnipeg, Manitoba

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Planning and Coordination:

o Develop and manage logistics plans to ensure timely shipping and receiving of goods.

o Plan and track shipments to align with customer and site requirements.

Shipping and Receiving Oversight:

o Manage routine shipping and distribution operations, ensuring compliance with logistics procedures.

o Identify and mitigate errors during pre-receiving inspections by collaborating with the supply chain team.

Storage and Equipment Management:

o Supervise storage arrangements and site equipment requirements.

o Optimize logistics processes to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Stakeholder Engagement:

o Communicate and coordinate with suppliers, retailers, and site project teams to ensure seamless operations.

o Maintain positive relationships with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders to enhance service delivery.

Monitoring and Reporting:

o Keep accurate records of inbound freight, executed orders, and logistics performance.

o Prepare and present detailed reports for management on logistics metrics and areas of improvement.

Compliance and Problem-Solving:

o Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.

o Resolve shipping and logistics-related issues efficiently and effectively.

Other Duties:

o Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the supply chain team.
