Who you are

Do you love to use your physicality in your work? If so, you are a good match as a logistics co-worker for our picking and delivery department at IKEA. In the full serve department (as we call it), we work in the part of the warehouse that is not open for customers. It is important you thrive in a fast-paced environment with a lot of changes. To be successful in this job, it is an advantage if you have experience as warehouse co-worker and/or hard manual labor.

Furthermore, we expect you:
- Are in good physical shape and can handle hard manual labor
- Have a license for operating forklift trucks – or want to acquire one
- Are motivated by prioritizing and organizing your own work to make efficient use of time
- Have good self-discipline and likes routine tasks
- Are good at communicating in English and enthusiastic about working in a team.

About this work area

Your primary task will be picking customer orders using manual labor, pallet lifter and forklift truck. Therefore, it is not unlikely you will pack and handle several tons of goods every day. When orders are being expedited online or in the store, your job is to find and pack the goods for the customers, and secure that the right goods are packed as fast as possible and without any damages and flaws. You primarily work independently, but with colleagues close by.

You task will be:
- Picking and packing orders from the store as well as delivery and click & collect orders
- Coordinate home deliveries and dialogue with transporters
- Maintenance of machinery and cleaning up the department
- Working together and following up with colleagues from other logistics departments as well as customer service and sales.

Here you will become part of an international team of both fulltime and part-time employees that work towards a common goal. We secure efficient logistics in the store and provide good customer service, even though we have limited customer contact. We work closely together with all departments, and consequently you gain experience in collaborating with many different types of people. We work in a fast-paced environment, but always support each other and work as a team. Therefore, there is room for you to be exactly who you are. Further information

• This position is for an average of 32 hours per week
• Your working hours will be between 07:00 and 20:30. You should also expect to work every other weekend both Saturday and Sunday. It is possible to give your input to the work schedule
• Salary is within IKEAs banding for logistics and includes pension- and free choice allowance and odd hour payment.
• Other employment terms follow HKs Funktionæroverenskomst

• Start date is 1st of October 2026
