Job Description

Logistics Clerk (Non-Exempt, Full-Time)

Work Schedule: Hourly Monday- Friday 7AM-4PM

Primary Accountabilities:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Logistics Clerk to support daily warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods, while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. This role is vital to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse and supporting the broader logistics and supply chain function. There is also a possibility of delivering electrical equipment to clients job site, so a clean motor vehicle record is required. Use of a company truck during working hours only. Experience in a warehouse/inventory environment is a plus, along with any electrical knowledge is extremely helpful.

Major Duties:

  • Check shipments for accuracy and report any damage or discrepancies.
  • Update inventory
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if certified).
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Will train to be forklift certified

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills (experience with inventory systems a plus).
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to work outside with Shade/Trailer provided as shade and water provided at all times
  • Ability to bend, reach, twist, and grip items while working outside
  • Ability to lift up to twenty-five (50) pounds occasionally.

Work Environment:

  • Work Yard environment with potential exposure to varying temperatures.
  • Standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.
  • Use of standard warehouse equipment and tools.
