THE OPPORTUNITY An established IT services group based in Mbombela is looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Logistics, Bookkeeping & Admin professional to join its team on a permanent basis. This is a varied, central role that keeps the business running smoothly — from supplier invoices and payments, to customer orders and deliveries, to the stock in the onsite warehouse and the call desk that keeps technicians moving. If you are comfortable switching between the books, the warehouse and the phones, enjoy keeping things accurate and organised, and can start immediately, this role is for you. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Bookkeeping & Accounts • Process supplier invoices accurately and on time • Load supplier payments • Manage and follow up on outstanding accounts Orders & Logistics • Manage customer orders, invoices, credit notes and deliveries • Follow up on outstanding orders through to completion • Coordinate orders between customers, warehouses and logistics providers Stock Control • Monitor stock levels in the onsite warehouse • Report stock shortages, damages and discrepancies • Coordinate stock movements ​ Call Desk • Perform call desk duties and allocate incoming calls to technicians Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Matric (Grade 12) • A qualification in Bookkeeping, Accounting, Finance, Logistics or a related field • Financial background (essential - 1-3 years) • Stock and logistics experience (essential - 1-3 years) • Pastel or Sage experience (essential) THE IDEAL CANDIDATE This role suits a junior to mid-level administrative professional with a solid foundation in both finance and logistics, who brings experience in: • Bookkeeping and accounts administration • Stock control and inventory management • Logistics coordination • Customer and supplier liaison • Pastel or Sage accounting systems You are organised, accurate with numbers, confident on the phone, and able to juggle competing priorities in a busy, multi-functional environment.
