Job Description

Job Objective :

The Logistics Associate maintains metrics related to centre shipping performance, carrier performance, shipping efficiencies and other identified statistics also he will participate in related planning. The role further serves as support throughout the facility providing support and general administrative support where needed.

Environment:

Internal: Centers Staff & Management, Logistics, Procurement, Lab Staff, etc.

External: 3rd party service providers for PLC.

Key responsibility :

Primary data entry and date management support of center shipping and inventory statistics as well as carrier performance to assist team with inventory and logistics management.

Generate weekly reporting packages for publication to management as well as operations.

Track, consolidate, and report detail of identified logistics issues to the field to provide feedback and assist with improvements.

Assist with carrier performance statistics.

Coordinate logistics meetings/calls as needed, record action items, timelines, and follow up assisting team with problem resolution and process enhancement.

Reports all unsafe working situations or conditions to supervisor or Manager.

Help in planning and maintaining of logistics policies and procedures.

Academic experience required :

Bachelors degree required.

Professional Experience Required :

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in related field or functions, preferred in a planning Role.

Computing Skills :

MS Office knowledge, Excel professional, Familiar with SAP environment.

Personal Skills :

Communication; negotiation; and proactive, strong problem-solving skills.

Organized and able to manage time.

Ability to think through and seek out information in researching and evaluating atypical situations.

Knowledge of general clerical operations.

Knowledge of MS Office, SAP.

Languages:
Good written and spoken English and Arabic.

Grifols Egypt for plasma derivatives is a joint-venture (JV) company between the Egyptian Government, through the National Service Projects Organization (NSPO) and Grifols, the global leader in plasma medicines with more than 110 years of contribution to improving the health and well-being of people.

This joint venture is the first of its kind in the plasma industry and the first-ever Egyptian source member of the Plasma Protein Therapeutics Association (PPTA). GEPD is a groundbreaking global public-private alliance that will benefit the entire region.

GEPD is committed to developing the plasma medicines market and achieving self-sufficiency in these critical therapies, which is crucial for the Egyptian healthcare system.

We are combining the expertise of both shareholders to build and operate 20 plasma donation centers throughout Egypt, along with manufacturing facilities including fractionation, purification, and fill-and-finish plants with a processing capacity of up to 1 million liters of plasma annually that can double in the future.

The new manufacturing facility will include a plasma warehouse and a testing laboratory. It will occupy 105,000 square meters strategically located in the administrative capital’s medical city, adjoining various healthcare institutions.
