Logistics Application Operations Specialist

(NYCE WMS & Relex Supply Chain Planning)

Are you experienced in application support and motivated by ensuring stable and efficient logistics operations? Do you thrive on solving complex problems, identifying the root causes of recurring issues, and creating business value through high-quality service?

As a Logistics Application Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in the daily operation, support, and continuous improvement of our NYCE WMS and Relex Supply Chain Planning solutions. You will serve as the dedicated 2nd Level Support Specialist for business-critical warehouse and supply chain processes, acting as the vital link between the business, vendors, the Service Desk, and Group IT Application Support.

Your work will be essential in ensuring that our warehouse and logistics operations run smoothly, efficiently, and reliably every day.

What will success look like?

As a Logistics Application Operations Specialist, you will play a central role in ensuring stable operations and delivering high-quality 2nd Level Support for our NYCE WMS and Relex Supply Chain Planning solutions. Success in this role is about more than resolving day-to-day issues. It’ss about building specialist expertise, developing strong relationships, and continuously improving the solutions that support our business-critical logistics processes.

During your first 6 months we expect you to:

  • Build a strong understanding of our systems, processes, and support setup.
  • Take ownership of the day-to-day 2nd Level Support activities including
  • Prioritise and manage incident backlog
  • Assess Impact / criticality
  • Evaluate where the problem should be solved and collaborate with the relevant teams for solution
  • Establish strong relationships with the business, IT, and our vendors.

Within your first year, you will have:

  • Established yourself as a trusted specialist within NYCE WMS and Relex Supply Chain Planning.
  • Contributed to high system stability and reduced recurring operational disruptions.
  • Strengthened collaboration between the business, IT, and external partners.

In the longer term, you will:

  • Drive continuous improvements and optimize our support setup.
  • Define and maintain our monitoration setup with our Platform-developers.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficient ways of working.
  • Turn operational challenges into scalable, long-term solutions.

Team, Reporting Line & Collaboration

You will be part of Group IT and report to the Head of Standard Application Services. You will join a team focused on delivering stable operations, high service quality, and the continuous development of our business-critical applications.

In your daily work, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain Planning & Supply Chain Management, IT Service Desk, and Group IT Application Support. You will also work closely with our external application vendors on support activities, issue resolution, releases, and improvement initiatives.

Who are we looking for?

You have experience within application support and enjoy working at the intersection of business and IT. You are motivated by solving complex challenges, creating structure, and ensuring stable solutions in an environment where operational excellence and continuous improvement go hand in hand.

It will be an advantage if you have experience with:

  • NYCE WMS or similar Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Relex Supply Chain Planning solution and related processes.
  • 2. Level Application Support within logistics, or supply chain environments.
  • Strong knowledge within integrations and messaging and knows how to investigate within this area
  • ITIL and service management principles.
  • Troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and stakeholder management.
