Job Description

The Supply Chain Sr Manager performs supply chain and logistics functions such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution. This role creates integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, purchasing and logistics) and outside suppliers. This position is responsible for leading the regional supply chain team to derive, implement and manage the PIC supply chain strategy that optimizes cost, bio-security and product mix to meet PIC’s customer needs and aligns with the operating and strategic objectives of the business.

You Will

  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple countries, with a strong leadership presence in the Philippines. Ensure operational excellence, efficiency, and reliability across all regional logistics and supply functions. Develop and execute a forward-looking supply growth plan, including securing capacity and aligning partners across products.
  • Lead the development and execution of production planning, inventory forecasting, and logistics coordination to ensure optimal product availability and service continuity
  • Work closely with commercial teams to develop accurate demand forecasts, enabling proactive and responsive supply planning
  • Foster strong collaboration across operations, commercial and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of business strategies and operational plans. Deliver supply chain performance in line with budget and revenue commitments
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage third-party logistics and supply partners to ensure high standards in quality, cost-efficiency, delivery performance, and compliance. Negotiate and manage key supply contracts
  • Align supply chain strategies with customer expectations to deliver consistent service levels, on-time deliveries, and prompt resolution of supply-related concerns
  • Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including Selects per Sow per Year, Doses per Sire per Year, GTC Genetic Levels, and customer service metrics aligned with business priorities and process effectiveness and efficiencies
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance, standardize best practices across regional operations increase efficiency and optimize cost.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team. Cultivate a culture of accountability, innovation, and cross-market knowledge sharing. Ensure the completion of training and development plans for both self and team members, aligned with organizational priorities and competency frameworks
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager and Regional Director to ensure the logistics and supply chain team is equipped with the necessary tools, resources, and support to achieve performance targets
  • Lead the development of detailed annual budgets for the supply chain function, ensuring alignment with regional objectives and optimal resource allocation.

  • Actively contribute to the SEA Leadership Team, engaging in cross-functional leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making. Maintain open, timely, and transparent communication with the Regional Director on critical issues affecting team performance and regional business outcomes

Requirements

  • University or Advanced Degree in agricultural or business-related fields
  • Ability to travel approximately 50%
  • A minimum of three years experience in a senior level role
  • Strong understanding of live pig production and systems management
  • Proven ability of supplier and key account management
  • Working knowledge of contemporary data/production reporting systems.
  • Ability to work in and maintain performance expectations in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lead, motivate and coach a diverse team building technical competencies
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and technical writing skills are required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
