The ideal candidate has hands-on logistics experience and is comfortable taking ownership of assigned tasks with limited day-to-day direction.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Track parts, equipment, and program assets throughout their lifecycle, including location, status, maintenance requirements, and service-life limitations.
  • Support depot operations, including incoming deliveries, storage, kitting, shipping, refurbishment, and equipment exchanges.

  • Monitor parts and assemblies during maintenance, refurbishment, disassembly, and reassembly to maintain traceability.

  • Develop and maintain inventory tools, including MIN/MAX levels, shortage tracking, and material forecasts.
  • Coordinate logistics actions with depot personnel, engineering, NAVSUP, DCMA, vendors, fleet representatives, and other program stakeholders.
  • Support parts acquisition, material estimates, quotes, and funding forecasts.
  • Identify material shortages, schedule risks, and logistics issues and help develop solutions.
  • Support the development and improvement of logistics processes, trackers, procedures, and systems.
  • Prepare routine status updates and brief logistics accomplishments, risks, and open actions to program leadership.
  • Work as part of an on-site Product Support team supporting logistics, engineering, configuration management, technical data, and maintenance activities.

Requirements

Position Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply support, product support, depot operations, maintenance logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience with inventory, asset tracking, material management, shipping/receiving, or maintenance support.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and follow tasks through completion.
  • Experience using logistics, inventory, maintenance, or asset-tracking software.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively within an on-site government and contractor team.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous Navy, DoD, depot, or defense logistics experience.
  • Experience supporting equipment maintenance, refurbishment, repair, or component-level tracking.
  • Familiarity with NAVSUP, DCMA, ordnance inventory, maintenance planning, or DoD supply systems.
  • Experience developing or maintaining inventory, MIN/MAX, material forecasting, or logistics tracking tools.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Relevant logistics, military, technical, maintenance, or DoD experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, subject to contract requirements.
