Job Description

The Logistician provides Engineering Requirements Review (ERR) support for the C-130 program, to include logistics expertise, technical documentation reviews, updates to associated systems and databases, logistics studies, briefing support, working group support, maintenance task creation/updates.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides logistics expertise to support the ERR process, to include Part I, II, and III activities.
  • Supports the creation of maintenance tasks related to logistics as assigned, following documented standards and processes, by required due dates.
  • Analyzes logistics-related requirements, documenting all findings and completing all tasks, following documented standards and processes, by required due dates.
  • Completes all assigned technical data update activities, to include all logistics-related documentation, drawings, system, and database updates, by required due dates.
  • Provides support for formal reviews to include support for agendas, scheduling, topics briefings, meeting minutes, and action items as assigned.
  • Provides logistics expertise in support of annual requirements reviews for maintenance tasks, business case development/review, technical analysis, system configuration baselines, configuration audits, and studies.
  • Identifies problems and/or deficiencies that require configuration or procedural changes and evaluate performance improvements to ensure the functional systems meet operational requirements.
  • Provides logistics-related support for Program Management Reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings, and development and submission of reports and deliverables as assigned.
  • Completes all additional ERR support tasks as assigned by required due dates.
  • Supports the development of plans, reports, studies, processes/procedures, and other required tasks as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (preferred)
  • SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Secret

  • Must obtain and maintain a government security clearance at the required level.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access), and other standard (Customer specified) applications.
  • Position requires sitting, for long periods of time. (Sedentary Work)
  • Most duties require extended use of a keyboard and computer monitor
  • May require lifting of 20-50 lbs
