Job Description

NextGen Federal Systems is seeking a Logistician to support our United States Air Force customer with Operational Test data collection operations on F-35s, F-22s, F-15Es, and F-16s utilizing 10+ unique instrumentation systems. Our personnel work on the flight line and engage in instrumentation engineering, modifications, pre-flight processes, post-flight processes, and maintenance and troubleshooting.

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent plus 2 years’ logistician experience
  • Proficient in functional areas of supply material management (operating stock).
  • Proficient in maintenance, transportation, and services operations, in support of aircraft modifications, daily ops, tool control, test equipment calibration (precision measurement equipment laboratory).
  • Proficient in maintaining inventory of instrumentation Group A/B hardware kits for accuracy.
  • Experienced in controls of all stock and inventory control.
  • Is experienced in supporting logistical activities for flight test organization.
  • Responsible for monitoring, locating, and scheduling the movement and control of maintenance equipment as well as performing periodic inventories and utilizing computer programs to assure equipment records are complete and up to date.
  • Responsible for the distribution of existing maintenance equipment to customers based on demand.
  • Responsible to help customers with the procurement of maintenance equipment, parts and supplies as needed.
  • Responsible for receiving orders and equipment for Data Labs.
  • Ability to prepare, coordinate, and integrate the identification, development, acquisition and delivery of integrated logistics support requirements for systems or equipment
  • Proficient with preparing logistics requirements plan, ILS Plans, Operational and Interim Support Plans, etc., as required.
  • Assess all requirements necessary to coordinate ILS functions.
  • Issue and receive flightline equipment and conduct tool inventory and accountability checks.
  • Inspect tools and equipment for serviceability and manage equipment control documentation records.
  • Support maintenance operations and shift turnovers.
