We are seeking a COMSEC Custodian to oversee technical reviews and releasability of requirements, identify and resolve cryptonet management issues, and support the provisioning and sustainment of U.S. Government and partner cryptologic capabilities. The role involves leading key technological efforts and executing high-impact assignments in accordance with COMSEC policies and procedures.
Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).
Maintain COMSEC inventory, accountability, and reporting in compliance with established policies, including KMI/DIAS management.
Program, distribute, and manage COMSEC devices and keying material using KMI, SKL, and related systems.
Develop, update, and enforce SOPs for COMSEC operations, ensuring proper storage, security, and readiness of equipment.
Maintain operational readiness by managing spare equipment, supporting emergency circuit establishment, and replacing faulty assets.
Conduct technical and releasability reviews, resolve cryptonet issues, and provide COMSEC subject matter expertise for secure interoperability.
Manage lifecycle activities for COMSEC equipment, including coordination for repair, return, tracking (e.g., FMS logistics/MDATs), and proper destruction of obsolete assets.
Support FMS and partner operations by coordinating logistics, advising on transportation plans, assisting case managers, and serving as an alternate COMSEC custodian.
Ten (10) years of experience working as a Logistician.
2 years of direct COSMEC Experience
Experience shall include property accounting processes to include the associated forms. Shall possess knowledge of automated inventory control systems.
Professional experience shall include ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling, property accountability, and discharge of excess property.
Shall have practical experience with processing paperwork related to Government Bill of Lading and the DD1149.
