Explore your next role:

Logistic Support Service Manager will lead and manage the Logistic Support Services team, including Specialists, Coordinators, and Lead Hands, to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient parts movement and inventory management while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Provide strategic oversight, workflow planning, and process improvement initiatives to support operational excellence.

Your responsibilities:

  • Plan, assign, and prioritize workload for LSS Specialists, Coordinators, and Lead Hands.
  • Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and ensure adherence to operational standards and deadlines.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review operational performance, resolve issues, and communicate priorities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities between Material Control, Maintenance, Procurement, and Repair & Overhaul departments.
  • Ensure timely processing of parts requests, tracking, shipping, and inventory updates.
  • Oversee urgent (AOG) situations, approving critical escalations and ensuring rapid resolution.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve logistic support processes and reporting systems.
  • Monitor compliance with Dangerous Goods, WHMIS, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Identify areas for process improvement, cost optimization, and efficiency gains.
  • Prepare management reports and metrics to support operational decision-making and executive updates.

Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success:

  • Post-secondary diploma or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business is required; Receiving Inspector and/or Dangerous Goods (DG) Specialist certification is preferred.
  • Valid Dangerous Goods and WHMIS certification is required; Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) or a Supply Chain professional designation is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or aviation maintenance support is required.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities in an operational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions under operational pressure.
  • Strong strategic planning and resource allocation skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven experience in process improvement and problem-solving.

You must be legally eligible to work for a Canadian company (e.g., be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit) and provide a clear Criminal Background Check.
