What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Logistic Coordinator (US Operations) with analytics skills and business vision to join our US Operations Team in Mexico City, Mexico.

Mission

To support the Supply Chain and Finance teams by ensuring accurate freight payments, recovery of service failures, and visibility of logistics spend and performance for US logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

Freight Bill Processing:

  • Collect and verify freight invoices from transporters and freight forwarders against approved rate cards, contracted charges, and supporting documents.

  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and support timely bill clearance.

Claims & Service Failure Tracking:

  • Identify service issues (delays, detention, damages, overbilling).

  • Raise claims under guidance, track status and aging, and support recovery follow-ups.

Monthly Reconciliation:

  • Assist in monthly SOA reconciliation by matching approved invoices, payments, and credit notes.

  • Highlight pending or disputed items.

Rate & Contract Compliance:

  • Compare billed rates with contracted rates, flag deviations, and maintain rate tracking files.

Reporting & Data Management:

  • Prepare monthly reports on freight spend, shipment volume, claims, and service levels.

  • Maintain organized records for audits.

Coordination & Communication:

  • Liaise with transporters, freight forwarders, warehouses, and finance teams to ensure timely documentation and support compliance requirements.

You will need

Education

University Education with Degree or equivalent qualification preferably in Logistics & International trade.

Experience

  • 0–2 years’ experience in logistics, freight billing, or operations support

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (basic formulas, pivot tables preferred)

  • Exposure to US transportation (truckload, intermodal, port operations) is a plus

  • Experience with 3PLs or freight forwarders preferred

  • Familiarity with ERP / TMS systems is desirable

Competencies

  • Attention to detail and structured documentation skills

  • Clear communication and coordination abilities

  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
