Adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures and actively participating in the safety program Own preventative maintenance process for the Log Line. Input Work Requests into MOE Ensure Log Line Checks are completed daily Retool Debarker arms as needed. Monitor and provide feedback on issues hindering full potential. Coordinate with Quality Control to ensure optimizers are maximized at full potential Maintain a high level of housekeeping for the Log Line and MCC rooms. Develop value added improvements on our current processes. Own AKMS trainer responsibilities to help execute trainings with new operators. Assisting operators with machine start-up, shutdown, down events and clean up Assist maintenance during unplanned events Coordinate with leadership and Log Line operator daily on all canceled devices. Attend focus meetings and provide feedback to leadership.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Basic mechanical knowledge Two (2) years of sawmill experience
What Will Put You Ahead
One (1) year of Log Line operator experience. Experience changing out Debarker components and Merch saws
