You will play an essential part in ensuring the compliance and safety of New Zealand’s forestry imports and exports. • Safeguard New Zealand’s borders by ensuring that only clean, safe, and disease-free cargo is transported

Qualifications

About You:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to provide accurate, professional feedback
  • Proficiency with field-based data systems (including apps and laptops)
  • A strong, healthy body and a genuine passion for working outdoors
  • An ability to be flexible and able to work at short notice
  • Be willing and able to travel to other ports throughout NZ when required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage conflicting interests
  • A strong focus on health and safety
  • A full, clean New Zealand driver’s license (desired)
