Morayfield is located in the Moreton Bay region, just north of Brisbane, offering easy access to both the Sunshine Coast and the city. The area provides a balance of suburban convenience, local amenities and nearby coastal destinations, making it an ideal base for a locum placement.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning across general and emergency dentistry
• Deliver a range of treatments including restorations, extractions, and urgent care, with scope aligned to your clinical experience
• Manage patient flow and prioritise emergency cases as required
• Communicate treatment plans clearly and educate patients on oral health and preventive care
• Work collaboratively with dental assistants, oral health therapists, and support staff
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with Australian standards and regulations
• Adapt to different practice environments and systems to ensure continuity of care

The Opportunity

• Dates: 1 July to 27 August
• Days: 4 days per week

What’s on Offer

• $800 base retainer per working day or 40% commission, whichever is greater
• Travel support including flights, private accommodation and car hire
• Established patient base with consistent workflow
• Supportive and experienced clinical and administrative team

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 2 years’ experience practising in Australia
• Confident working independently across general and emergency dentistry
• Professional indemnity insurance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
