1300SMILES Dentists Rockhampton is located in Rockhampton, Queensland, and provides dental care to the local community. The practice offers a range of dental services including general dentistry, preventative care, restorative treatments, cosmetic dentistry, teeth whitening and emergency dental treatment.

This locum opportunity provides the chance to practise dentistry in a regional Queensland city while supporting the dental needs of the local community.

Rockhampton is located in Central Queensland and is known for its historic architecture, riverside setting along the Fitzroy River and access to nearby natural attractions such as the Capricorn Coast and Great Keppel Island.

Job Description

Join 1300SMILES Dentists Rockhampton for a locum placement from 26 October to 20 November, working Monday to Friday.

What's on offer

• $800 base retainer per working day or 40% commission, whichever is greater
• Return flights and private accommodation included, with car hire provided where required
• Work alongside multiple dentists in a collaborative practice environment
• Existing patient base with consistent workflow
• Supportive and experienced clinical and administrative team

What you'll be doing

You'll provide high-quality general dentistry to an existing patient base while working alongside an experienced team in a supportive practice environment.

Treatment may include:

• Examinations and treatment planning
• Restorative dentistry
• Extractions
• Emergency dental care
• Preventive dentistry
• Other general dental procedures aligned with your clinical experience

You'll be supported by an experienced team, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality patient care throughout your placement.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in general dentistry preferred
• Professional indemnity insurance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
