Job Description

What if your project management expertise could transform how millions of patients access life-changing diabetes and obesity treatments across Latin America?

Your new department

Within Market Access & Commercial, you'll join a dynamic team ensuring that our breakthrough treatments reach the patients who need them most. We work at the critical intersection of regulatory requirements, market realities, and patient access – translating complex scientific content into clear, compliant communications that resonate across diverse markets and stakeholder groups.

Your new role

As our Localization Project Senior Manager, you'll lead the strategic adaptation and deployment of critical medical and commercial content across markets. You'll manage end-to-end localization workflows – from translation and cultural adaptation through quality assurance – ensuring our scientific messaging maintains accuracy, compliance, and impact across diverse audiences.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing complex localization projects spanning medical, regulatory, and commercial content with multiple stakeholders across marketing, legal, medical affairs, regulatory, and design teams
  • Establishing and optimizing localization workflows, coordinating translation processes, cultural adaptation, and quality assurance to ensure content accuracy and compliance
  • Driving cross-functional alignment without formal authority, balancing competing priorities across global and local teams
  • Anticipating risks in regulated content deployment and implementing structured problem-solving approaches
  • Collaborating with global teams to translate strategic objectives into operational execution plans
  • Ensuring meticulous quality control of critical content that impacts patient safety and regulatory compliance

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • We're seeking a strategic project leader who combines pharmaceutical rigor with adaptability and diplomatic finesse. You'll thrive in ambiguity while maintaining exacting standards for regulated content.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in project management, ideally in pharma, scientific content, or highly regulated environments with proven track record managing complex end-to-end projects across multiple stakeholders
  • Direct hands-on experience with localization processes including translation, adaptation, quality assurance, and workflow management
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, legal, medical, regulatory, etc; and design teams in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or highly regulated industries
  • Experience collaborating with global teams across time zones and cultural contexts
  • Advanced English proficiency (essential) and Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, Marketing, Systems Engineering, Health Sciences, or related disciplines

What distinguishes you as a Senior Manager:

  • Crystal-clear communication to explain complex topics to diverse audiences combined with exceptionally high attention to detail for reviewing critical regulated content
  • Strong stakeholder management with ability to align priorities and lead through influence without formal authority
  • Excellent organization and prioritization to manage multiple simultaneous projects with structured problem-solving and risk anticipation
  • Critical thinking applied to regulated environments with ability to translate strategic objectives into operational plans and balance scientific rigor with commercial acumen
  • High adaptability to constant change, tolerance for ambiguity, diplomatic skills, and complete autonomy with accountability for outcomes

Nice to have:

  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) or direct experience with regulatory materials, medical content, or Market Access documentation
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Asana, Jira, Trello, Veeva)
  • Experience facilitating workshops, training sessions, or implementing localization processes from scratch
  • Formal team leadership experience or advanced negotiation experience with suppliers or global business units
