About Cobalt & Specialty Materials
Mastering the cobalt value chain. Umicore’s expertise covers the sourcing, production and distribution of cobalt and nickel products. Umicore’s materials are at the heart of products we use every day such as rechargeable batteries, tools, paints and tyres. Our recycling and refining processes give new life to cobalt and other metals and reduce environmental impacts. To meet the demands of our customers we cannot stand still. As our Local Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for transporting raw materials and finished goods between our warehouse and manufacturing plant in LaVergne, Tennessee. Specifically, this will include:

This position is located at the Palm Commodities International, LLC facility. The facility is a Drug-Free Workplace, and pre-employment drug testing is required.
Our Local Shuttle Drivers are paid on an hourly basis and eligible for overtime. Standard work hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
Benefits are available starting the first of the month after hire. We offer an excellent benefits package, including health insurance options, vision insurance, dental insurance, company paid life insurance and short/long-term disability insurance, voluntary critical illness and accident insurance, and a 401K Plan with employer matching and profit sharing eligibility. Employees are also eligible for regular bonuses. We recognize 12 paid holidays per year and provide three weeks' vacation plus paid sick time annually.
