The Local Logistics & Stock Management Specialist ensures the stable and efficient flow of vehicles from VPC arrival to dealer delivery by managing outbound logistics activities, inventory levels, and special transportation requirements.

Through proactive coordination with logistics partners, internal stakeholders, and headquarters, the role secures vehicle availability, optimizes stock allocation, and minimizes operational risks. By monitoring inventory aging, improving logistics processes, and driving system enhancements, this position plays a critical role in maintaining supply chain efficiency, supporting market demand, and ensuring timely vehicle delivery to dealers and customers.

Local (inbound & outbound) Logistics Management

• Monitor shipment arrival schedule to secure optimal level of vehicle supply
• Coordinate inbound logistics schedule through constant communication with shipment company, port operator, and inbound logistics company.
• Validate vehicle information on the document versus physical delivery and correct in case discrepancy.
• Evaluate shipment related document such as bill of lading, and request for revision if there is an error.
• Execute overall required requests in order to promptly supply vehicles to market such as requesting to separate bill of lading number.
• Monitor overall outbound logistics by examining logistics capacity cope with PDI throughputs.
• Vendor payment settlement
  

Special Logistics Management

• Communicate with HQ for the prioritization of transportation considering the market demand and vehicle availability.
• Manage airfreight transportation by selecting a vehicle, coordinating necessary documents, arranging target delivery date with HQ and internal stakeholders.
• Manage ship back cases with HQ and relevant service providers.
  

Stock Management

• Monitor stock ages and distribute aged stock reports to relevant parties
• Collaborate and communicate with related internal stakeholders and vendors to coordinate storage allocation upon vehicle arrival (i.e. FTZ, bonded area etc) for efficient operation
• Implement and propose disposal scheme/measures for aged stock to minimize the vehicle standing-time and meet the company stock level target

Process and system automation Support

• Identify and solve systematic issues by analyzing current process & system
• Reflect and propose enhanced local blueprints to future process & system for improvement
• Analyze and validate various process & systems for direct sales in scope of Local logistics and stock management
• Conduct UAT and engage with system developers for system optimization

로컬 물류 및 재고 관리(Local Logistics & Stock Management) Specialist는 VPC(Vehicle Processing Center) 도착부터 딜러 인도까지 차량이 안정적이고 효율적으로 이동할 수 있도록 출고 물류, 재고 수준 및 특수 운송 업무를 관리하는 역할입니다. 물류 파트너, 사내 이해관계자 및 본사(HQ)와의 선제적 협업을 통해 차량 공급을 안정적으로 확보하고, 재고 배분을 최적화하며, 운영 리스크를 최소화합니다. 또한 재고 노후화(Aging)를 모니터링하고 물류 프로세스 개선 및 시스템 고도화를 추진함으로써 공급망 효율성을 유지하고 시장 수요를 지원하며, 차량이 딜러 및 고객에게 적시에 인도될 수 있도록 기여합니다.

로컬 물류 관리 (입고 및 출고)

• 입고(Inbound) 및 출고(Outbound) 물류 운영
• 적정 수준의 차량 공급을 확보하기 위해 선적 도착 일정을 모니터링
• 선사, 항만 운영사 및 입고 물류업체와 지속적으로 소통하여 입고 물류 일정을 조율
• 서류상의 차량 정보와 실제 입고 차량 정보를 대조하고, 불일치 사항 발생 시 수정
• 선하증권(Bill of Lading) 등 운송 관련 서류를 검토하고 오류 발견 시 정정 요청
• 시장에 차량을 신속하게 공급하기 위해 선하증권 번호 분리 요청 등 필요한 업무 수행
• PDI(출고 전 차량 점검) 처리 능력에 따른 물류 운영 현황을 모니터링하여 전체 출고 물류 관리
• 물류 협력업체 비용 정산 및 지급 관리

특수 물류 관리 (Special Logistics Management)

• 시장 수요 및 차량 가용성을 고려한 운송 우선순위 설정을 위해 본사와 협의
• 항공 운송(Air Freight) 대상 차량 선정, 관련 서류 준비, 본사 및 내부 이해관계자와 납기 일정 조율
• 차량 반송(Ship-back) 건을 본사 및 관련 서비스 제공업체와 협력하여 관리

재고 관리 (Stock Management)

• 재고 경과 기간(Aging)을 모니터링하고 관련 부서에 재고 노후화 리포트 배포
• 차량 도착 시 효율적인 운영을 위해 FTZ(자유무역지역), 보세구역(Bonded Area) 등 적절한 보관 공간 배정을 사내 유관 부서 및 협력업체와 조율
• 장기 재고 차량의 체류 시간을 최소화하고 회사의 재고 목표 수준을 달성하기 위한 처분 방안 및 개선책 수립·제안
  

프로세스 및 시스템 자동화 지원

• 현재 프로세스 및 시스템을 분석하여 시스템 이슈를 파악하고 해결
• 향후 프로세스 및 시스템 개선을 위해 향상된 로컬 운영 방안(Blueprint) 제안
• 로컬 물류 및 재고 관리 영역 내 Direct Sales 관련 프로세스와 시스템을 분석 및 검증
• UAT(User Acceptance Test, 사용자 인수 테스트) 수행
• 시스템 최적화를 위해 개발자와 협업

Education

• Bachelor degree

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience with expertise in vehicle sales or ordering
• Preferred experience in retail business in the same industry
• Knowledge of the automobile industry with sufficient hands-on experience
