This position reports to:

Regional Sales Manager MODP, Asia

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a global or local business leader. Each day, you will be responsible for commercial (sales and marketing) activities and portfolio management. You will also showcase your expertise by maintaining research and development oversight.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Motion Drive Product based at Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Defining a go-to-market model and segment strategy for the assigned Business Organization and aligning them with the operational/execution path.
• Ensuring the integrated commercial success of the organization to drive business growth, profitability and market share, enabling the organization to achieve its short, mid, and long-term performance and growth objectives within the assigned geographical scope.
• Driving appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency with special focus areas such as profitability, costing/hourly rates, over/under-absorption analysis, demand analysis, go-to-market, cost-to-serve.
• Optimizing all commercial costs (PEX of sales forces, call centers, after-sale, commissions of channel partners, and distributors, if applicable).

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial automation, drives, or motion control business.
• Proven P&L management experience with demonstrated commercial and sales leadership capability.
• Strong knowledge of variable speed drives (VSD), PLCs, and motion control products and their market applications.
• Experience in channel management; distributors, system integrators, and OEM partner development.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to interface across local, regional, and global business teams.
