Murrey’s Disposal is actively hiring a Residential Garbage Truck Driver with a valid Class A or B CDL to join our team in Fife, Washington If you're a safety-focused driver with experience in waste collection or looking to start a stable career in the waste management industry, we want to hear from you!
Competitive hourly wages starting at $35.00–$35.50/hr
Full-time schedule Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays
45-hour work week with overtime opportunities
Safely operate a residential garbage truck on designated routes
Read and follow route sheets or dispatcher instructions
Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
Load and unload waste materialsâsometimes without assistance
Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift and dispose of refuse
Provide courteous customer service and complete other duties as assigned
Physically demanding roleârequires lifting over 50 lbs
Exposure to outdoor weather, fumes, vibration, and moderate noise
Must follow all safety protocols around moving mechanical parts
Valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
High school diploma or GED preferred
At least 2 years of relevant driving experience
Basic knowledge of truck components for inspections
