WSP/kW MCE is seeking a Local Business Line Leader (LBL) to support our Data CenterCenterof Excellence (CoE). This leadership role is responsible for supporting strategic growth, operational performance, and client delivery excellence within the regional market, while aligning with the national business line objectives.
Your Impact
Clients & Business Development
Lead by example under the mantra of Client Account Focus with a Seller / Doer Hustle
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Engage sub-sector leaders and the identified GCP Account leader in pursuit strategy, including the formation of the team which may work across multiple CoE locations and / or engage other experts from outside of the CoE when appropriate.
Identify growth opportunities and inform the COE business development lead and sub-sector lead.
Identify strategic opportunities.
Support revenue growth through client engagement and service delivery.
Coordinate with business development lead and Subsector Leads.
People & Culture
Recruit, mentor, and develop talent within the business line that also fits within our culture.
Foster a collaborative culture with open forums for feedback.
Collaborate with local office engagement leads to ensure your local culture is consistent across business lines.
Work with Subsector Leaders and Operations Lead to ensure that project team embrace a Best Athlete approach and considers individuals are not systemically over-loaded, working across CoE offices as necessary.
Embrace the Swat team approach, leveraging the broader P&B for capacity to support non-core developer clients.
Be a champion for all components of the OneWSP Data Center offer.
Operational Excellence
Accountable for financial performance and operational delivery within their designated location.
Work Operations Lead to monitor and manage performance metrics, including Net Revenue, Direct Labor, EBITDA, Utilization, Billability, DLM, and Revenue Factor, for your local market.
Ensure compliance with WSP operational policies and quality standards.
Ensure your local team is compliant with MPR, Forecaster, Opportunity Updates, TimeSheets, etc.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
12+ years of experience in design, including leadership roles.
Leadership experience in consulting or design.
Business development success
Strong financial and operational understanding.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.
High level of self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
